Dear Sis: Brothers are wonderful, especially when they treat their sisters with extra care. You are on the right track as far as giving more credence to those who are not intimidated by your brothers. I'm thinking once you start dating and having a relationship with a man who's comfortable with your brothers, you can then talk with your brothers. That's the time to let them know you're ready to be serious and you need them on your side. I have a feeling they will understand and support you while still looking out for you. Show them your mature side and they will show you their understanding.

Dear Healthier: So many of us ignore our doctor's orders or don't make the time to do what's right for ourselves. Be proud of yourself and keep up the good work. It is not anyone's business what you do, especially if you're healthy and happy. You're not doing anything immoral so they should have no concerns. Stick with your plan and explain nothing, especially to those teasing you.
