Hi, I'm Meg I have had a few experiences with internet dating. I'm 21, I know I am young but I have a very time demanding job. There is no time to meet anyone with my work hours. Anyhoo... I had two long term relationships with internet dating but I have also had some horror stories. One in fact I drove about an hour and a half to meet what I thought was a really nice guy. He took me to Wendy's. (wow, he knows how to impress a lady) We argued the whole time. It was terrible and the picture he had on his profile was from 6 years prior- before he totaled about 400 lbs. I wish that more people were up front and honest but the truth is they aren't. I am still single and have (for the most part) given up on dating until I find someone who fits into what I need as opposed to me changing for them. So I guess my best advice for people trying internet dating, don't settle. Don't say I guess this is good enough, because it won't be.
By the way, some internet relationships work. I set my father up on Cupid and he met my step mother, and now I have an 8 month old sister and I couldn't be happier.
